Tales for Tails Storytime at Dover Library

On Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 10AM-11AM children can visit the Dover Library for the Tales for Tails Story Time hour.  This event is for beginners, reluctant readers, those who need practice and readers who love DOGS! 
Pups Buffy or Magic are therapy dogs and avid listeners who will attend story time with the children.

York Literacy Council Book Sale

On September 10 from 10a.m.-8p.m. and Sept. 11 from 10a.m.-4p.m. the York Literacy Council will be holding book sales at their location: 800 E. King St. and at the West Manchester Mall.  Families will have plenty of new and gently-used books to choose from at great prices.   

The West Manchester Mall location will offer a filled basket raffle and a bake sale will be held at the York  Literacy Council.    

I've never been to the Literacy Council but the West Manchester Mall location always has a great assortment of books and they are really cheap!
