Monday Evening Story Time at the Dover Area Community Library is for families with children of all ages.  Join Miss Colleen from 7PM-8PM on Monday, May 30, 2011 while she (and other presenters) share their favorite stories.  


Registration is not needed and it's free!  Call 717-292-6814 for questions.  This is usually a weekly event.

Tales for Tails Storytime at Dover Library

On Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 10AM-11AM children can visit the Dover Library for the Tales for Tails Story Time hour.  This event is for beginners, reluctant readers, those who need practice and readers who love DOGS! 
Pups Buffy or Magic are therapy dogs and avid listeners who will attend story time with the children.

Summer Movie Express 2011 at Regal Cinemas

Police Gaming Program at the Martin Library

Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 4PM-7PM Martin Memorial Library in downtown York, PA will be having a Police Gaming Program. This will be held in the Family Place inside the library and is sponsored by the York City Police Department and everyone is invited to play video games, use laptops and have a snack.

Honey Bee Festival

Brown's Orchard (North) is having a Honey Bee Festival on Saturday May 14, 2011 from 10am-4pm and Sunday May 15, 2011 from 11am-4pm. For only $5 per child (under 2 is free) they can enjoy crafts, games, straw maze & mountain, live bee demo, Queen Bee parade, story-telling, alpacas, firetrucks, helicoptor and more. They also have the opportunity to meet the new mascot, Blossom!

Children's Storytime at Borders

Every Wednesday and Saturday at 11am is storytime for children at Borders in York.  Young children can visit for stories and activities.  No age group is specified but since it's held on Wednesdays at 11 my guess is it's geared toward the 5 and under crowd.

Mommy (or Daddy) & Me: Collage at YorkArts

On Saturday May 21, 2011 from 9AM-10:30AM kids ages 3-6 can visit YorkArts (accompanied by 1 adult) to experiment with a wide variety of age-appropriate media and techniques with experienced instructors.  Supplies are included and classes are limited to 8 children (+8 adults). 
The Mommy (or Daddy) and Me: Collage class is $20 for 1 child and 1 adult.
