Rocky Ridge County Park has kicked off the holiday season with its 29th annual Christmas Magic, A Festival of Lights. Christmas Magic 2012 is a half mile trail with hundreds of thousands of lights on display, holiday scenes, train displays and more.
When: Christmas Magic will be held throughout the park until December 31, 2012. Monday-Friday from 6-9pm, Saturday and Sunday from 5-9pm.
Where: Rocky Ridge County Park. 3699 Deininger Rd, York, Pa 17406
Cost: Adults $8, Ages 4-12 $6, Under 4 is free, Seniors (60+) $7, Groups of 12+ adults $7 each, Groups of 12+ kids $5 each.
New for 2012:
-More lights, props, scenes, new themes
-A bigger train display
What else:
-Food vendors, including Brown's Orchards, Bricker's Fries and more will be serving some great comfort and holiday food.
-Wednesday, December 5 is Pet Night. Bring your pet along during normal business hours and even get a picture with Santa for $5.
-Beginning December 11 and continuing as weather permits, there will be ice sculptures by students from The School of Culinary Arts.
-Many county municipalities offer a buy-one-get-one-free coupon for certain dates. If your township or borough doesn't offer this coupon you may also print it from the website.
