DreamWrights Theater in the Park 2014: A Comedy of Errors

The free theater in the park by DreamWrights this summer is A Comedy of Errors.  The dates and times are as follows:

Friday, July 25 6:30 at Pinchot State Park
Saturday, July 26 5:30 at Brown's Orchards
Sunday, July 27 6:30 at Cousler Park
Tuesday, July 29 6:30 at John Rudy Park
Thursday, July 31 6:30 at Sam Lewis State Park
Friday, August 1 6:30 at William Kain Park
Saturday, August 2 6:30 at Codorus State Park
Sunday, August 3 2:30 at DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre!

P.S. many of these locationss are also participating in the GoYork summer reading program if you want to try to save gas and travel time.    

Little Explorers Nature Time at Rocky Ridge

Families are invited to Little Explorers Nature Time at Rocky Ridge Park, at the Oak Timbers Picnic Area on Thursday June 27 from 11am-12pm.  Park Naturalist Amber Carothers will guide your family as you explore nature and the habitats at the park. 

All ages are welcome but strollers are not recommended.

This is a free activity and there is no registration information. 

Free Summer Movie Series at Kiwanis Lake

York City's annual outdoor Summer Movie Series at Kiwanis Lake begins Wednesday June 19, 2013 and will run every Wednesday until August 7, 2013.  Movies will begin at sundown but families are invited to join in free Play Street Activities prior to the movie.  Bring snacks, blankets or chairs and bug spray for this fun and free event.  Movies will be determed at a later date and are all PG or family-oriented.  The Summer Movie Series at Kiwanis Lake are held outdoors, weather permitting.  No rain dates are scheduled.
